On Music and Musicology
Much of my musicological work concerns how human beings interact, musically, creating groove and improvising, within transcultural artistic contexts. With respect to this matter I formalized the concept of "Interactional-Formative Space".
I am particularly interested in Audiotactile Phenomenology and its rapports with Groove, Swing, Improvisation and Interaction Analysis; Crtitcs and History of Popular Music. I am also interested in studies in Brazilian Popular Music and its inter and trans-cultural dynamics, improvised music and post-1969 Jazz.
